Rising Professionals on the Move
RPM (Rising Professionals on the Move), formed in spring 2007, is a young professionals group open to people ages 21 to 40ish who wish to network and make a difference in their community. Similar to business after-hours events, the group meets monthly for fun and refreshments at various places in the community.
RPM is more than about networking; it cares about the community in which its members live, work and/or play. Annually, RPM will put significant effort and funds into one community service project.
RPM is also working on a fundraising project to help rejuvenate a local park, in addition to other gatherings and community projects. The organization is sponsored by the West Bend Area Chamber of Commerce and the West Bend Economic Development Corp.
I worked with the RPM their inaugural year with designing their logo, newsletter, and letterhead. Upon hearing their name I instantly got an image of the RPM gauge from a dashboard, which turned out to be the winning design. I wanted to keep their group image clean and professional.
